Are You Looking for the Easiest Way to Know When You Are Most Fertile? Here’s How to Calculate the Ovulation Cycle Correctly.

Calculating the ovulation cycle isn’t as easy for every female as it may look like.

This article describes how to calculate the fertile window correctly and easily.

Ovulation is the release of an egg from a female’s ovary.

After release, the egg moves to the fallopian tube where it stays for 24hours or more.

Pregnancy occurs when a sperm travels to the fallopian tube and fertilizes the egg during this time.

If the egg isn’t fertilized, it moves to the uterus, breaks down and leaves the body in form of blood.

This is known as menstruation.

Females are most fertile within the first two days of ovulation.

However, it’s important to note that it’s possible to get pregnant in the days leading up to ovulation as sperms can survive for several days in the female body.

The days of the menstrual cycle are when a woman is least likely to get pregnant.

This is called the “safe period” or the “safe days”

Signs of Ovulation.

Tacking your ovulation days assists you to know the exact day you ovulate every month.

They include:

1.Mild cramps on the lower abdomen

2.Wetter, clearer and more slippery vaginal discharge

3Slight increase in basal body temperature

4.Higher sex drive

Signs like body temperature will continue to change after ovulation has occurred.

For this reason, the factor shouldn’t be used to predict the fertile window.

It’s also important to note that the ovulation time may change depending on different factors.

Calculating Ovulation.

Ovulation takes place around 14 days before a person expects to have their next period.

This is if their cycle is 28 days.

Most people ovulate between days 11 and 21 of their cycle.

The first day of their last menstrual period id their day 1 of the cycle.

The cycle around ovulation is the fertile window.

At this time, chance of getting pregnant is very high.

The below table summarizes a typical menstrual cycle and how fertile a person is likely to be at each stage.

1-7 days: this is the least fertile stage of your cycle

8-9 days: here it’s possible to conceive (post-menstruation stage)

10-14 days: Most fertile stage

15-16 days: Possible to conceive (post-ovulation stage)

17-28 days: Thickening of uterine lining, less fertile, unlikely to conceive.
